GOLF SWING AIDS
Golf swing aids, we have all used them and probably have two or three of them sitting in our garage. But can these swing aids really help us? Which one's work and which are just gimmicks grabbing our hard earned dollars.
Every golfer is looking for that little edge. We all ask; what will make us better players? We are willing to buy just about anything if we think it can help us. No wonder there are so many golf teaching aids avaliable grabbing our hard earned money.
With hundreds of swing aids avaliable, costing anywhere from $19.95 to hundreds of dollars, many golfers spend a small fortune looking for that miracle fix for their golf swing. Are any of these swing aids any good or should we just avoid them all together. If we do want to use them how do we know if they are right for us.
Why don't we look at the tour pros and see what they are using. This will give us a good indication of what works and what doesn't. Tour pros are not going to use something if it doesn't work.
There are 5 or 6 different golf swing training aids I see used on tour on a regular basis. I will briefly mention them.

LASER PUTTER: This is a laser light attached to your regular putter, it will allow you to see where you are actually lining up the putter.

PUTTING ARC: The putting arc is a piece of wood that is slightly curved. This allows the player to make the proper putting stroke.

TYPE: FAT PUTTING GRIP: Although the fat putting grip isn't actually a golf training aid, quite a few players are using this. It is a very large oversized grip used on your putter. This allows the player to maintain a very light grip. In fact K.J. Choi won using an oversized putter grip.

Here is a really good teaching aid which will help you
maintain balance
through out the swing. Poor balance will cause a lot of bad shots.

This may be the best of all the
golf swing aids
avalilable. This helps you get to your left side but it's also incredible for building strength needed for golf. Any golfer that wants to become better should have a leader board.

These are the golf swing aids I see being used most on tour. If the tour pros are using them doesn't it make sense that these are the golf swing aids we should be looking to use to make our golf swings better.
